What We Do

The Need - Emergency Placement

One of the most pressing issues in emergency foster care is the urgent need for placements coupled with limited resources. When children are removed from their homes due to abuse, neglect, or other emergencies, there may not always be enough foster families available to provide immediate care. This can lead to children being placed in temporary shelters or group homes, which may not offer the same level of stability and support as a traditional foster home. Emergency placement foster care in Texas is a short-term service for children who need immediate care. It’s also known as the Temporary Emergency Placement (TEP) Program. HIS Love foster Care Solutions is here to meet this need!

Our Program

His Love Foster Care Solutions is a Temporary Emergency Placement Program, providing short-term, residential services to children age 7–17 years old in the custody of the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services. Our shelter is located in Katy, Texas and provides 24-hour care, trauma-informed support, education, and life skills development. We focus on stability, personal growth, and preparing for long-term success in life.

Our Program Expectations & Daily Activities

At His Love Foster Care Solutions, we believe in helping youth experience a normal and structured life—just like in any home. Youth are expected to follow a daily schedule, complete age-appropriate chores, and participate in program and community activities. All activities are supervised and designed to support your growth, safety, and independence. Youth may also have opportunities for unsupervised activities with permission from their caseworker and the Child Care Administrator, as outlined in their service plan. The goal is to build responsibility, routine, and healthy habits that support success in life both inside and outside the program.
